Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to share with you the pride and excitement of organizing the 8th International 19th National Nursing Congress in cooperation with Hacettepe University Faculty of Nursing and the Turkish Nurses Association. We hope to be together with experts from all over the world and from every field of our profession at the most established nursing congress of our country, which is planned to be held at Hacettepe University Sıhhiye Cultural Center (Ankara) on September 25-28, 2024, and to increase the power of nursing in protecting and improving the health of the world with this unity.

In today’s world, where global and national crises are experienced one after another and our profession is recognized as one of the main actors in crisis management and in achieving global health, the main theme of our congress has been determined as "WHO SHALL SURVIVE?". Within the framework of this main theme, it is aimed to create a scientific program that will shed light on the future by examining today's conditions in the light of the past. Panels, conferences, oral and poster presentation sessions with national and international speakers who are experts in their fields are planned to discuss the health systems, nursing policies and nursing education programs that are foreseen for tomorrow. In our congress, where student sessions will be held simultaneously, in interaction with our participants we aim to increase our global and national awareness, reinterpret our professional philosophy and values with today's conditions, and update our professional knowledge, skills and practices in the light of our professional ethics and values. In addition to sharing scientific knowledge, we aim to put forward rational solutions to our common problems and create a road map.
